Iran first country to qualify for 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup [highlights]

297 Views By defeating Vietnam 5-0 in the Quarter-finals of the 2016 AFC U16 Championship, Iran has booked its spot in the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India.

Iran has qualified as the first team for next year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will take place in India next fall. This tournament will be between 24 teams from 6 confederations.

Sayyad (30′, 72), Ghaderi (47′), Asadabadi (62′), and Khodamoradi (69′) scored Iran’s five goals in Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

In the Semi-finals of the AFC U-16 Championship, The Iranians will face the winner of another Quarter-finals match, which will be between Oman and North Korea.
