125 Views The Iranian men’s national football team, also known as Team Melli, has moved up to 28th in FIFA’s World Ranking.

Moving up five spots, Iran (820 points) is now ranked 28th in the world, and still first in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

South Korea (700 points) is the second ranked team in AFC, but only sits at the 43rd spot globally, meaning the Taegeuk Warriors and the rest of the countries in this confederation still have a lot of catching up to do, in order to test Iran’s supremacy in Asia.

In this edition of the FIFA World Ranking: Brazil has taken the number one spot from Argentina; Netherlands is now 32nd after falling 11 spots; and India has moved up 31 spots to 101st globally, and 11th in AFC.
