156 Views Due to the passing-away of Thailand’s king, Iran will not be playing a friendly against this country as planned.

Iran and Thailand had planned to play a friendly on November 9th, but due to the death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, this match has been cancelled.

Instead, Team Melli will be playing a friendly against Iraq, on November 6th.

The Iranians will then travel to Malaysia to play Syria on November 15th for their fifth match of AFC’s third round of the 2018 World Cup Qualifications.
