Zambia comes back from two goal deficit to defeat Iran [highlights / full]

170 Views Iran has been defeated 4-2 by Zambia in the group-stage of the 2017 U20 World Cup.

Although two goals from Reza Shekari (7′, 49′) gave Iran a comfortable lead, the Zambians fought back and downed their opponents.

Sakala (54′), Mwepu (59′), Banda (65′), and Daka (71′) were the goalscorers for the African nation. With six out of six possible points from the first two matches, Zambia has qualified for the knock-out stage of this tournament.

Group C’s other match (Costa Rica vs Portugal) ended in a 1-1 draw.

Iran is now second in this group with three points from two matches; The Iranians will face Portugal on May 27th.
